Cookie Policy

1. Preferences and storage keys
We store a small number of preference keys in your browser, including a theme value and a cookie-consent record prefixed with the site name so keys remain distinct from unrelated projects on shared machines. These keys help avoid showing redundant prompts after you choose.
You may clear site data at any time through browser settings; clearing resets preferences until you set them again.
2. Categories of cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookies keep sessions and security features functioning. Analytics cookies, when enabled after consent, help us understand aggregate navigation patterns such as which syllabus pages are opened most often. We do not use cookies to store sensitive authentication secrets beyond short-lived session identifiers.
Functional cookies may remember form drafts locally where implemented to reduce data loss on accidental refresh.
3. Third-party technologies
Embedded conferencing or video hosts may set their own cookies when you click through to live sessions. We configure embeds to minimize tracking where platform controls allow and document known subprocessors in vendor help pages linked from course logistics emails.
If a vendor changes defaults, we update this policy and cookie banner text when we become aware of materially new processing.
5. Consent and withdrawal
Non-essential cookies require your positive action through the banner controls. Withdrawing consent clears or stops setting optional identifiers on subsequent visits, though some aggregate statistics collected prior to withdrawal may remain in de-identified logs.
You may reopen the banner by clearing the consent key or when we surface an updated notice after substantive changes.
6. Contact
For questions about cookies, email welcome@flux-pulse.one. We route technical cookie questions to our operations coordinator and legal wording questions to counsel as needed.
