Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 2026-04-02
1. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would point elsewhere. Courts located in Seoul shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to PulseForge Academy programs, community spaces, or this website, except where mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence grant you a non-waivable right to bring claims locally.
If a tribunal finds a portion of these Terms unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted. PulseForge may update governing law references when corporate structure changes, but any change will be posted with a revised effective date and will not apply retroactively to completed enrollments absent your consent.
2. Termination and suspension
We may suspend or terminate access to community accounts, mailing lists, or course materials when we reasonably believe a participant violated these Terms, harassed staff or peers, attempted unauthorized access to lab systems, or shared credentials in ways that endanger other learners. Where feasible, we provide written notice describing the concern and a short window to respond before material removal.
You may terminate your participation in paid offerings according to the Returns & Refunds policy. Termination of an account does not erase records we must retain for accounting, dispute resolution, or quality standards obligations, though we limit continued processing to those purposes.
3. Acceptance of terms
By browsing this site, submitting forms, enrolling in programs, or joining community channels, you agree to these Terms and the policies linked in the footer, including the Data Protection statement and Cookie Policy. If you disagree, discontinue use and request deletion where applicable law allows.
Parents or guardians must accept on behalf of participants under the age of majority in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly enroll minors without verified guardian consent.
4. Liability limitations
Training materials, labs, and forum answers are provided for professional education. They are not a substitute for your employer's internal policies, vendor support contracts, or judgment about production changes. To the maximum extent permitted under Korean law, PulseForge Academy and its instructors are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from application of course techniques in your environments.
Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to a single enrollment shall not exceed the tuition actually paid for that enrollment during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited for consumers by mandatory law.
5. Participant responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate registration information, keep credentials confidential, and use shared lab resources respectfully. Scraping course videos, republishing proprietary lab guides, or reselling access is prohibited. You will not upload malware, attempt privilege escalation in sandboxes, or use community spaces to spam commercial offers unrelated to observability learning.
When incidents occur in labs that resemble production outages, you will coordinate with instructors before attempting remediations that could affect other learners' work.
6. Intellectual property
PulseForge retains rights to curricula, recordings where offered, slide decks, and assessment prompts. You receive a limited, non-transferable license to use materials for personal learning during enrollment and for a reasonable retention period afterward as stated in your order confirmation.
Feedback you provide may be used to improve services without obligation of payment, except where a separate written agreement states otherwise. You retain ownership of your own code samples shared for critique; we ask that you scrub secrets before upload.
7. Description of services
PulseForge Academy delivers cohort-based and self-paced training in monitoring and observability practices for engineers and platform teams. Offerings may include live workshops, discussion forums, office hours, and downloadable templates. Specific deliverables, schedules, and access windows are defined in the listing for each course or package at the time of purchase.
We may substitute instructors or adjust session times when illness or force majeure occurs, providing comparable content and, where material changes arise, a remedy described in the refund policy.
